.Incheon Bridge – New Songdo City, Korea , still to be made and its a 7.4 mile bridge

.Skywalk – Grand Canyon, Nev. , Hovering 4,000 feet above the canyon floor, this cantilevered, glass-bottomed walkway provides visitors with a heart-racing view. Acrophobes take comfort: The Skywalk can sustain the weight of 71 fully-loaded Boeing 747s, and the force of an 8.0 magnitude earthquake within 50 miles of the Canyon’s Indian reservation.

.Stretto di Messina (Strait of Messina) , It will be the longest suspension bridge ever built with 2 mile of coverage

.Lucius J. Kellam Jr. Bridge-Tunnel – Chesapeake Bay, Va. , Spanning more than 20 miles and connecting Virginia’s Eastern Shore with the mainland at Virginia Beach near Norfolk, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel is supported primarily by 2,500 low-level concrete trestles.

.Dong Hai Bridge – Shanghai, China , With a total length of almost 20 miles, the Dong Hai is the largest over-sea bridge constructed to date.

.Harilaos Trikoupis Bridge – Strait of Corinth, Greece, It comprises five spans, the longest of which is 7,390 feet, and is built upon “floating” pier bases that sit on gravel and soil beds reinforced by steel pipes — both structural firsts. In recognition of its engineering excellence the Rion-Antirion Bridge won the 2005 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement award from the American Society of Civil Engineers. Its is the longest cable stayed bridge in the world

.Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge – Boston, Mass. , A bridge need not be the longest to be one of the best. The new Zakim Bridge is the widest cable-stayed bridge in the world. As part of the biggest highway update in the country—Boston’s Big Dig—the 183-ft.-wide pass was designed to maximize traffic flow into the city while minimizing congestion.

.Oresund Link – Zealand, Denmark , The longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe, the Oresund creates an international link between Denmark and Sweden. Approximately 10 miles long and boasting one of the longest cable-stayed main spans in the world, the bridge now carries 67% of the traffic across the strait.

.Millau Viaduct – Millau, France , Spanning the River Tam, in the south of France, Millau is a massive piece of infrastructure that appears as light as the fog that puffs across the valley, despite the superlatives that might weigh it down: It’s the tallest (1,122 feet) and longest (1.6 miles) multispan cable-stayed bridge in the world.
